I specialise in putting the heart in human creative stories
Storyteller
I am passionate about exploring ways to share compelling human narratives, shining a spotlight on the people who create the art, objects and crafts that transform and elevate our homes and lives. I do this through photography and writing, as well as creating a powerful platform through my print publication, FAIRE magazine.
Facilitator
I am a dedicated facilitator of creative gatherings, exhibitions, events, and workshops and firmly believe that it is our duty to be constantly educating ourselves and sharing our knowledge with others. With every project, I find ways to build opportunities for connection, collaboration, to empower, support and nurture my incredible creative community.

My photography journey
I have been taking photographs since I moved to Provence in the Winter of 2010, I picked up the camera as a means of sharing the unravelling of my former life in Ireland and the new life I was constructing in Provence.
I started documenting my jewellery collection for HP Deco and The Paris Market, this activity then grew to include sourcing and shooting antique textiles for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten, Zimmermann, Bode, Love Shack Fancy and Alice McCall and for key film and television costume departments such as Game of Thrones, Outlander and Penny Dreadful.
As my network of contacts grew, I was commissioned to photograph and write stories of creatives all across Europe for publications like Where Women Create, What Women Create, My French Country Home and Quilt Mania.
In 2019, I founded Forage, Feast, Photography, a series of international creative retreats designed to unite people through storytelling, food, and photography.
In 2020, I was invited to create and guest-edit a What Women Create special issue. The issue focused on the idea of slowing down and healing through creativity. “This is it” , I remember thinking while working on the issue. I had found my passion: giving creatives a platform and a voice.
In Spring 2021, I launched FAIRE magazine, an independent high-spec quarterly print magazine, to celebrate stories of creative lives around the world in an honest, authentic way. I was also asked to contribute photography for a very beautiful book, Principles of Style by Sarah Andrews (Simon & Schuster (2021)) and a little over a year later Sarah asked me to contribute several stories for her second book. ‘ The Poetry of Spaces: Creating Meaningful Interiors’.
In 2022, an exciting new creative challenge opened up to me as I was asked to shoot and co-author my first book with French designers Antoinette Poisson (Flammarion, Autumn 2023).
In the last decade, I have been feeling my way, finding my voice and choosing to listen to the stories that whisper to me. It is passion that propels me forward, urging me to learn and grow and I feel very strongly about empowering and lifting others up with me on the way.
